What started as an exhibition with a single, isolated sculpture, in September 2020, gradually turned into a crowd up until December 2020.
Imagining Marwan as a cutlery drawer, Martijn Hendriksโ sculpture 'Spoon' (2016), previously exhibited in a rented Volvo V80 parked for a week in a shopping mall parking lot, was the first piece to inhabit it.
Since September 2020 โSpoonโ became accompanied (irregularly) by a growing multitude of pieces (of cutlery) by a variety of artists.
All artworks were made specifically for She cut that as the spoons know (egg) / Guards can maybe be clumps, fork so ready, Hase / Cordon to eaten shark / dream peels ready / Who cut lead into teeth, always causing the status quo in Marwan to shift, or, the install to change frequently.
